First Steps!!

December 6, 2012 Thursday - Jakes takes his first steps in 5 months! He received his prosthetic today! He can only wear it a couple minutes each day as he works to become full weight barring. It's a long awaited wonderful day!

Jake's Story

Jake Griggs was born January 21 1995 in Logan, Utah. Growing up his family moved many times. In 2007 he and his family settled in Cache Valley and for five years have called North Logan their home. Jake is a junior at Sky View High School. He loves sports. He especially enjoys participating in recreational basketball leagues and playing football with his buddies. On March 13th, 2012 Jake was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, an aggressive, cancerous tumor surrounding his tibia right next to his growth plate. This blog is a story of his journey.
